Huh, the TPB will actually contain a new story that wasn't in the regular issues? I have to admit that as someone who buys the book regularly I'm not a big fan of that. Is there any info out on that story such as a brief solicitation blurb or something?

Don't worry, Darrell, the strip in the trade will be printed in the regular series at a later date!
